The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering was established in the year 2008 with an intake of 60 students. The main goal of the department is to provide students with quality education and continuous up-skilling so that they can succeed in the rapidly changing industry landscape. In addition to strong academic input, students are required to undertake projects and gain hands-on experience with both hardware and software tools. Industry visits and expert lectures from academia and industry professionals further enhance the learning experience.

The department boasts a dedicated and experienced faculty in various domains of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Their expertise covers areas such as Wireless Communication, Digital Signal Processing, Embedded Systems, VLSI design, Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning and more. The faculty's commitment to teaching and mentoring plays a crucial role in shaping the student's academic journey.

Equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and modern facilities, the department provides students with a simulating learning environment. The laboratories include Basic Communication Lab, Advanced Communication Lab, Digital Signal Processing Lab, MFOC Lab, AWP Lab, Satcom and Radar Lab and Project Lab. These labs are equipped with advanced software tools, experimental kits, and simulation platforms, allowing students to gain practical exposure to the latest technologies and methodologies.

The students of the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department demonstrate outstanding academic performance, securing top university ranks and earning accolades for their achievements. They actively participate in national and international technical competitions, hackathons, and paper presentations, showcasing their skills and knowledge. The department encourages and supports students in presenting their work at conferences.

The Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department hosts a vibrant student community with active participation in student organizations such as the IETE Student Chapter. This organization conducts technical events, workshops, and seminars that supplement the academic curriculum and promote practical learning. Furthermore, the fact that most of the teaching faculty is pursuing Ph.D. producing valuable research contributions. This demonstrates the department's commitment to advancing knowledge and contributing to the academic community.
